1. What are headings?
Headings are titles and subtitles that you can use to structure your text and help your readers get a clearer view of your content.
The most important heading is H1. You can use it as the main title of your page. Then you can use less important headings like H2 and H3 to further structure the main body of your content.
2. Why are headings important for SEO?
Headings make it easier for search engines to crawl your website, to find your keywords and therefore to understand what your pages are about so that search engine robots can match your pages to the keyword searches by a potential visitor.
Headings are created thanks to heading tags integrated in the <body> section of your source code.
The heading tags indicate to search engines that they should give priority to the text between those tags when evaluating your website.

4. How can you write SEO friendly headings?
Writing SEO friendly headings are pretty straightforward as long as you do not repeat the same keyword or heading multiple times. Here are a few tips:
Use only one H1 heading per page
Use H2, H3, H4… more than once to structure your text
Integrate your main keyword for that page in your H1
Integrate your other keywords in the different headings. If you operate locally, mention the region or city where you are active.
Write natural phrases that will make sense to your readers
Do not list your keywords
Make sure your headings are no more than 60 characters long
