1. Will I lose all of my progress if I stop using STRATO marketingRadar?

No, you will not lose all of your progress once you stop using STRATO marketingRadar. Your website will remain optimized and we won’t delete any of your entries in the local directories. However, your Google Ads campaign will be paused and your online visibility is very likely to decline over time if you are not taking any action. Keep reading to find out why.

2. What will happen to my search engine rankings?

Canceling your STRATO marketingRadar subscription does not mean you are deleting all the improvements you have brought to your website thanks to the STRATO marketingRadar tasks. Your website will therefore remain optimized as it is and your rankings will not immediately drop as soon as you have deactivated your account.

However, remember that your online presence is dynamic and fluctuates over time, just like your search result rankings. If you want to remain visible in search results, you have to monitor your rankings and adapt your SEO strategy accordingly.

By canceling your subscription, you will no longer have access to your keywords list, your task progress, your keyword ranking reports or any of the data available in your STRATO marketingRadar account. We will also stop monitoring your competitor’s online activity and notifying you every time something worth your attention is happening. In the long run, this can lead you to miss a drop in your rankings or an opportunity to readjust your strategy and maintain your visibility.

3. What will happen to my listings in the online directories?

Once your STRATO marketingRadar account is deactivated, your business entries are put on “inactive”, which means that we do not delete them, but we no longer update them for you. Your listings will remain, but they might lose consistency since they will not be updated. Remember that having the same company name, phone number and address all over the web is a very big trust factor for Google and consumers.

If you want to update your data, you will have to go manually through each profile and edit them. Before this, you will have to create an account on each specific directory and claim the listing.

4. What will happen to my online reputation?

Deactivating your STRATO marketingRadar account also means that you are deactivating the radar functionality and the email notifications about new reviews. You will also no longer be able to centralize all of your reviews and answer them from one single platform.

Therefore, remember to check each of the rating platforms on which you are registered on a regular basis in order not to miss any reviews customers might have published on your profile. Unanswered negative reviews will affect the image of your company and scare new potential customers away.

5. What will happen to my Google Ads campaign?

As soon as your STRATO marketingRadar account is deactivated, your Ads will no longer be displayed in the search results. You might therefore notice a big drop in your website’s traffic as Ads are always displayed on top of the search results and drive a lot of new visitors to your website.

Please note that if you decide to cancel your subscription, your active Ads will remain active until your contract has expired. If you no longer want your Ads to be displayed in the search results, you can pause your campaign at any time in the “Google Ads” section of your account.
