1. Why does STRATO marketingRadar need my address?

We need your address so we can:

  • Target the correct region

  • Get accurate reports on keywords

  • Find relevant competitors

  • Help with your online presence in local directories

It is important to enter your address so that we can help you optimize your website better by targeting the right region, local or national. STRATO marketingRadar’s ranking reports in search engines like Google depend on the location of the search engine user. The competition, keywords, and search volume vary across each location.

The address will help STRATO marketingRadar to provide you with accurate daily reports. Since search engine results and rankings depend on the location of the user, you need to be aware of your rankings of each keyword in the region that you target.

The address also helps STRATO marketingRadar to find your competitors that you will be able to monitor and you will also get reports on the selected keywords, as well as social media activity and Google ads.

With your address, we can find your business on social media platforms and online directories like Google Business Profile. This way, we can help you improve your online visibility, and customers can find your business easier. Please check our STRATO marketingRadar website and see what online directories can do for your business.

2. What will happen with my address?

It is mandatory to enter an address so that STRATO marketingRadar can detect the correct country which allows us to better optimize your website for search engines in the right part of the world.

The address that you enter in STRATO marketingRadar will stay with STRATO marketingRadar and will not be published unless you decide to publish your business in local directories and synchronize your data with Google Business Profile, which means that you want your address to be visible to customers.

If you do not have a physical address for your business, you can simply add your personal address or any random address as long as it is in the city or region you want to be present.

STRATO marketingRadar will still keep on collecting reports, data, and other information, but will not post your address in local directories or Google.

3. How to add your address in STRATO marketingRadar?

During the onboarding process, you will be asked to add your address to the STRATO marketingRadar app. Make sure you add your business address where your customers can find you.

If your address contains more than one line because it is a bit more specific, you can add a line simply by clicking on the button “Add address line 2” after the first Address line and you will be able to insert an industrial park, unit, or suite.

If you enter your address in STRATO marketingRadar, and the application does not accept it, it means the entered address is not an existing geographic location on Google Map, and cannot be detected and added. Please check that your street name and postcode are correct.

However, STRATO marketingRadar will also provide you with the option to pinpoint your location on the map. Drag and drop the red pin to your exact location on the map and click on “Save” once you are done.

4. Can I change my address?

You can change your address at any time in your account. Simply click on “Settings” in the left menu of your STRATO marketingRadar dashboard and then on “Business”. The address and country that you selected will determine the language of your STRATO marketingRadar account.

Once the country is chosen, it is not possible to change the country anymore for that particular project.
