In order to protect your reputation and stay informed, you always need to see and monitor everything happening on Search Engines like Google, but also other Social Media channels like Facebook or Instagram.

Are you tired of always lagging behind when it comes to answering customers’ reviews or reacting to posts on social media? With the RADAR feature, our notifications about updates and information about you and your competitors will be sent to you in real time! In this article, we will tell you how to activate your messages so that you never miss out on crucial information for your business on Strato MarketingRadar.

1. What is Strato MarketingRadar RADAR?

The Strato MarketingRadar RADAR feed helps you manage your brand image and your brand reputation by gathering important online data related to your company or your competitor’s company. Get notified every time there is a new publication on social media, a customer leaves a review or your name is mentioned in an article or in a forum. The feed also highlights the main evolution in your Google rankings. You have access to all those essential pieces of information in the “Overview” section of your Strato MarketingRadar dashboard. This is a general overview of the most recent events on your synced platforms, which means that you don't have to log in on different platforms individually, but you can have a crystal clear overview of all your news and feeds on one single platform!

2. How to activate the free RADAR features?

You can personalize your feed by filtering the information that is displayed in your account. Click on “Filter feed” in the top right corner of your dashboard and make your choice of the news and feeds you would like to see.

You can select if you want to keep receiving data linked to Google rankings, social media presence, listings in local directories, web mentions or online reviews. You can also choose whether you want notifications about your company, your competitors’ company, or both. Furthermore, you even get to decide which competitors you want to see. Once you are happy with your choices, do not forget to confirm those choices by clicking on “Apply filters” to save your changes!

In your RADAR feed, you will also come across your company’s Local Visibility Index (LVI). The Local Visibility Index reflects the overall digital marketing performance of your website. This consists of a number of factors and reflects improvements or downturns in your general online presence.

3. What are the advantages of Strato MarketingRadar RADAR?

To become successful online, it is important that you are always aware and up to date about what is happening online within your business sector. However, researching this every day will take too much time and can be very inefficient. Just logging in separately to all your social media accounts and checking all your competitor’s social media pages every day is very time-consuming, and it makes it more likely to overlook any significant updates. Strato MarketingRadar’s RADAR feature does all the work for you and makes sure that you will never miss any updates about your online visibility and your competitors! You will have all the updates in your feed without having to log in to all your platforms and without having to check all the pages of every competitor. Just sit back and watch!

Your digital marketing performance is divided into three categories:

  • Google organic positions

  • Social media

  • Business directories (if synced)

On a daily basis, Strato MarketingRadar obtains organic positions in Google for all the keywords that you have inserted in Strato MarketingRadar. The performance of your keywords depends on the click-through rate (CTR), which means the ratio of how many people clicked on your website with these keywords to the number of total views. (We do not weigh the search volume of the keywords.)

For the social media score, the current measured social media source is Facebook. For Facebook, we look at the number of likes, number of shares, number of all times posts and the number of last month’s posts.

The score of the business directories is based on the presence of the business in all relevant directories and data quality.

4. How to get notifications by email?

You can get push notifications in your email inbox, which gives you the possibility to either receive instant alerts or a weekly summary with the most important events for your online presence and your competitors. This allows you to stay informed, react fast and make better marketing decisions. Notifications include major updates in Google rankings, reviews, social updates and much more, which can help you enormously to keep track of everything and always stay in front of your competitors.

To activate push notifications by email, click on “General” and then on “Manage projects” in the left menu of your Strato MarketingRadar dashboard and hover over your project with your mouse. Click on the icon “Reports” on the left to open a window. Then, in the “Notifications” tab, choose whether you want instant notifications, a weekly summary or both. Don’t forget to save your changes once you are done!

Now that you can rely on the Strato MarketingRadar RADAR feed to keep a constant eye on what is happening online and simplify the management of your online presence and reputation, you have more time to focus on your business and your customers!
